Artist Statement

 

“Art is in my blood. I’m driven. Physically I need to paint. My process begins with a certain motion, a feeling, an energy. Technique and textures are woven into compositions creating a sense of depth, which begins to tell my story. My intention is to capture the harmony between beautiful and chaotic; a construction and deconstruction of space to evoke the emotional connections between us, nature, and our modern world. Everyday is an opportunity for us to become more aware, to be inspired, to share a willingness to interact, while being submerged into both the light and dark influences of this wonderfully profound existence, we call life. Most importantly it’s a life in which I love living, creating, and sharing with others.”
