Lost Language - a unique collaboration between bay area Artist’s Ryan Petersen and Travis Neditch. By compiling ideas and discovering a common thread they develop a valuable concept for the artwork. Their two distinct styles infuse to create a complex interwoven piece, seamlessly blended to provoke the senses.

 

Each piece starts with a loose concept. A hand crafted wooden panel is constructed to accommodate the creation. They paint unconfined back and forth, at times covering previous layers while creating room for improvisation. Now begins the fine tuning and as the refinements unfolds the painting takes on a life of its own.

 

Lost Language has become a world unto itself and continues to grow. Each new painting is vivid and unique, bringing forth new personalities and topography. They play with the juxtaposition of time and reality - while the finished artwork seems to evolve into something more...A Lost Language
